Adoption Fee and Dog Placement Policy

At Noble Bulldog, our primary mission is the lifelong well-being of our English, French, and Rescued Bulldogs. We carefully match our dogs with forever homes to ensure a successful placement. This policy outlines our procedures regarding adoption fees and the return of a dog to our care.
Adoption Fees
Adoption fees are essential for the operation of our rescue. These fees go directly toward veterinary care, vaccinations, microchipping, high-quality nutrition, and the rescue of bulldogs from high-risk situations.
- Non-Refundable Nature: Adoption fees are generally non-refundable. By paying the adoption fee, you are contributing to the ongoing care of bulldogs in need.
- Processing Fee: A small portion of the fee ($50–$100) is considered a non-refundable administrative processing fee to cover background checks and home visits.
The 14-Day Trial Period
We understand that the first few weeks are a transition period for both the family and the bulldog.
- Partial Refund: If an adoption is found to be unsuccessful within the first 14 calendar days, Noble Bulldog may offer a partial refund (total fee minus the processing fee) at our discretion.
- Condition: The bulldog must be returned in the same health condition as when they left our care, with all provided medical records and equipment (leashes, harnesses, etc.).
Lifetime Return Policy (The Safety Net)
Noble Bulldog is committed to our dogs for their entire lives. If at any point in the dog’s life you are no longer able to care for them, the bulldog must be returned to Noble Bulldog.
- No Rehoming: Per your adoption contract, you may not sell, give away, or take the bulldog to a public shelter.
- Notice: We require at least 48–72 hours notice to arrange a foster placement for a returning dog.
- Post-Trial Refunds: No refunds will be issued for dogs returned after the 14-day trial period.
Medical Disclosures
Bulldogs (especially English and French breeds) are known for specific health requirements.
- Pre-existing Conditions: All known medical issues are disclosed prior to adoption. Noble Bulldog is not responsible for medical expenses incurred after the adoption contract is signed.
- Post-Adoption Illness: If a dog becomes ill shortly after adoption, please contact us immediately so we can consult with our partner veterinarians.
Return Process
To initiate a return during or after the trial period:
- Contact Support: Email placement@noblebulldog.com with the subject line "Return Request: [Dog's Name].
- Assessment: A coordinator will speak with you to understand the challenges you are facing. In some cases, we may offer professional training resources to help keep the family together.
- Transport: The adopter is responsible for safely transporting the dog back to a designated Noble Bulldog representative.
